Born and raised in Houston, Giovanni Marquez is more than just a rising star — he’s the next face of Mexican-American boxing. The son of Olympic medalist and former world champion Raul Marquez, Giovanni carries on the family legacy with pride and purpose. A former National Golden Gloves Champion, he turned pro in 2022 and has remained undefeated with a perfect 13-0 record, including 6 knockouts.
At just 24 years old, Giovanni has already captured the WBA Continental Americas Gold title, showing the world that he's not just following in his father’s footsteps — he’s forging his own path. After being trained early in his career by his grandfather, Giovanni is now guided by his father, blending old-school grit with new-era skill as he proudly represents Houston every time he steps into the ring.
